Two Australians trying to kayak across the Tasman Sea may have to divert from an Auckland landing to somewhere in the South Island if north-easterly winds persist. Justin Jones, 24, and James Castrission, 25, are paddling into strong headwinds in the Tasman Sea which have pushed them south over the past couple of days, support teams say.
