Large aperture solar receivers for parabolic troughs

Aperture size of solar receivers determines the operational efficiency of CSP plants. Larger aperture sizes result in increase in the thermal energy collected per square meter of collector area without a proportional increase in heat loss, thus improving the efficiency of the plant, while also reducing costs.
