Community biogas plants

Community biogas plants are small to medium sized plants set up within communities where they utilize the large quantities of waste produced in the community and supply biogas and digestate in an organized way. Community biogas plants are best suited for rural areas, where individual houses cannot afford to set up their own biogas plants. They provide reliable fuel as well as improved public health and sanitation. Also, they save people the labor of collecting large amounts of firewood.
