Using Fe-Mn-K catalyst to synthesize CO2 into organic jet fuel

In experiments, Fe-Mn-K catalyst by organic combustion method has shown  a high conversion rate for carbon dioxide to hydrocarbon fuels such as aviation jet fuel. 

The Fe–Mn–K catalyst thus appears to exhibit high activity for the CO2 hydrogenation and more investigations in this catalyst and other catalysts in this group could enable the economic scaling of CO2 to liquid hydrocarbon fuel production.
