Power 2 X is an interesting concept for deriving zero carbon (or very low carbon products) through the use of power (electricity).
Coupling renewable power (which has a very low carbon footprint) with storage, with bio-based feedstocks and with biological, chemical, thermal, biochemical or thermochemical pathways, renewable power can be converted to a range of end products - chemicals, heating/cooling, liquid fuels, gaseous fuels, ammonia (& thus fertilizer), food, etc.
Power 2 X is thus a concept that enables low carbon production of a range of products through the use of renewable power.
