Solar air collectors are solar thermal collectors that use solar radiation to actively deliver warm air into buildings.
Solar hot air collectors are typically mounted on vertical walls or roofs. The absorber plate gets heated by the solar radiation, and air passing through the collector picks up heat from the absorber plate. Solar air collectors are most often used for space heating.
