Molten salts are commonly used in a wide range of applications such as concentrated solar power plants, storage plants, power-to-heat-to-power technology, etc. However, the compatibility of molten salts with construction materials at high temperatures is a significant challenge. Various solutions such as graphitization, nanoparticles are emerging to design corrosion free molten salt tanks.
