Decarbonization Avenue : C2V - CO2 to Value

In fact

Kerosene from CO2 and hydrogen

For the foreseeable future, there’s no way around liquid fuels in commercial aviation - battery-based or fuel cell based electric aviation appears infeasible for large aircraft at the current states of their technologies.

Aviation fuels are the fuels with the highest quality, and if a process can manage to produce them from renewable resources, then they should also be able to synthesise many other kinds of fuel fairly easily

Aviation Jet Fuel, which is kerosene, is a mixture of hydrocarbons with very precisely specified chemical and physical properties that must be strictly maintained to ensure the economy and safety of flight operations. A synthetic fuel must have the same properties.
